Community Commerce and resource reallocation software company names Dennis Hayes to head advisory board of industry heavy-hitters

MonetaPro today announced the formation of its advisory board to be chaired by technology industry pioneer and inventor, Dennis Hayes. Hayes is best known for inventing the PC modem in 1977 establishing the critical technology that allowed today’s Internet industries to emerge and grow. Hayes, the MonetaPro principals, Stephen Meade and other advisory board members will meet in New York in September to finalize strategy to launch a suite of web-based software.

MonetaPro has three core software offerings:

RONAStar (Return on Net Assets), a SAAS application for the identification and reallocation of internal assets within large corporations and government agencies.

CFO magazine estimates that more than ten percent of companies’ assets are idle. For an organization with $1 billion in assets, more than $100 million could be idle or underutilized – resulting in diminished return on net assets (RONA), a critical measure of business performance. MonetaPro’s application for asset redeployment, RONAStar, enables organizations to identify and re-deploy assets internally, which increases RONA and reduces purchasing costs.

ComCom (Community Commerce), a private labeled transaction platform for members of a group to buy and sell from each other.

EAMS (Emergency Asset Management System), which is a web solution for business continuity and disaster mitigation, and facilitates the reallocation of corporate, government or emergency resources before, during and after a disaster.

Online demonstrations of RONAStar, ComCom and EAMS are available on the web site at www.MonetaPro.com.

MonetaPro is surrounded by a cadre of advisors, a few of whom have commented below:

John Svioklia of Diamond Cluster, a fellow advisory board member, states “Due to redundant purchasing and lack of visibility of existing assets, hundreds of billions of dollars in corporate spending is wasted each year worldwide. With RONAStar, assets from desks to people become visible and available for redeployment, all of which helps eliminate redundant purchases and saves money.”

“Identifying and redeploying idle and underutilized assets represents the last great untapped area for boosting the operating performance of corporations of all sizes,” asserts Peter Balbus, CEO of strategic consulting firm Pragmaxis. “Traditional asset management systems only track the existence and possibly the location of assets – not whether they are being productively employed.”

In addition to increasing corporate performance, the ability to locate and redeploy assets is an essential component of disaster recovery. “In the event of a natural disaster or terrorist attack, quickly locating and moving human and material assets becomes especially critical for corporations, governments and relief organizations. EAMS and EAMS-Corporate are the perfect solutions to handle the situation,” says John Gustafson, executive consultant to URS/EG&G.

“With the emergence of risk management and business continuity, the company has a tremendous product and is well positioned for growth,” adds Francis Petrash, Director of Risk Management Practice at EDS.

Regarding the company for which he now serves as advisory board chairman, Hayes states, “MonetaPro is truly on the forefront of the technology that makes it possible for organizations to globally identify and redeploy their resources — fast. I speak for everyone when I say how excited we are about our involvement and the future success of this organization.”

“Dennis Hayes and our other board members bring decades of business and technology savvy to the table to help us accomplish our goal of quickly growing MonetaPro into the premier provider of internal resource allocation applications,” said Stephen Meade, President and CEO of MonetaPro. “In my opinion the technology revolution really started with the invention of the Hayes modem. Needless to say, we’re very excited to have this caliber of leadership guiding the company.”
